Believe 4:  THE BIBLE

Objective:  To understand the Bible "The Word of God".

Preparing for the Lesson:

Be in prayer as you read the following:  2 Timothy 3:16-17, Genesis 2:7, Hebrews 4:12, Romans 1:20, Romans 2:14-15, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 119: 1-4, Isaiah 55:10-11, Romans 12:2, Psalm 119:97, Proverbs 3:5-6 and Hebrews 4:12.  I suggest that you read the scriptures in your version of the Bible and then read the same scriptures in another version of the Bible.

• Boy, I didn't realize that it took 40 authors and 1400 years to write the Bible.  WOW - that is a very long time.  Did you know this before you read this book?
• Do you believe everything that is in the Bible?

Heavenly Father, Please help me to put this week's key idea into practice.  I try so hard to understand God's Word.  Help me Lord to understand your WORD and to practice it each day.  In Jesus's name.  Amen
